Surrey, B.C. – Broker Larry Anderson and several REALTORS® and staff from Sutton - Premier Realty recently showed their support for local athletics—as spectators for a change. Every couple of months, a team from the office is invited to play sports with the students from Harold Bishop Elementary School. (They also donate grocery store gift cards to students in need.)
In late July, they took a more leisurely approach to sports by enjoying a Vancouver Canadians game at Nat Bailey Stadium. This baseball team regularly packs the bleachers and puts on an amazing show for fans.
“The Vancouver Canadians played against Tri-City Dust Devils and won 5-2 with a postgame fireworks extravaganza,” says Larry Anderson, Broker. “Vancouver Canadians baseball is a great way to spend an evening, cheering on the future of the Toronto Blue Jays!”
The Vancouver Canadians is a Minor League Baseball team based in the Northwest League (NWL) and the Class A Short Season affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Group outings like this one help to energize and strengthen the realty team. Larry notes, “We like doing a few different team-building outings a year. Others have included the Vancouver Giants Hockey, Happy Hour at the Taphouse, annual summer barbeques, and an evening at Hastings Racecourse, where we rented a private booth.”
Larry and his team are gearing up for a Wild, Wild West themed barbeque in mid-August and the kick-off of their Bring on the Balls campaign.
On Friday, September 6, 2019 Sutton - Premier Realty will host their 12th Annual Softball Tournament. They have signed up 16 real estate offices from the Lower Mainland to come out and play. On game day, participants can purchase lottery tickets with proceeds benefitting the Surrey Christmas Bureau.
