Kingston, ON – Rhonda Grant and Brandon Grant invite guests to join them at their 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on behalf of the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre (SPWC). Thompson Chrysler will once again generously sponsor the tournament, which will be held at the Garrison Golf Club on June 21, 2019. The event tees off at 1 p.m. and features an exceptional course, dinner and prizes including a new car. Proceeds will help with the construction of a much-needed aviary at the wildlife centre.

Rhonda and her son Brandon were first inspired to organize a fundraiser for the SPWC when they learned about the founder’s personal mission. In 1994, Sue Meech took it upon herself to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wild mammals, birds and reptiles/amphibians. Sue is licensed provincially by the Ministry of Natural Resources and federally by Canadian Wildlife Services to provide care and shelter for animal wildlife.
Participants at this year’s Charity Golf Tournament have a chance to win incredible prizes. Rhonda and Brandon thank Allan Insurance Agencies Inc. for sponsoring the "Hole-in-One" prize: a 2019 Fiat Spider convertible sports car!
There is also a putting contest, in which the final winner will receive a stay in a Fantasy Suite courtesy of Best Western Fireside Inn.
Raising money for a good cause and networking with new friends are the focus of this event, but avid golfers will appreciate that trophies will be awarded to:
• Best: Mixed, Lady's and Men's Teams;
• Closest to the Hole for Men's and Lady's
• Longest Drive for both Men's and Lady's
